Mostly, I find J.W. a little tiresome—she seems to be always cruisin’ for a bruisin’, picking fights with all kinds of people (like my girl Jenny Egan), and totally throwing off the Tournament of Books in order to make a point. But this interview’s pretty interesting, and how much she promoted her first novel, Good in Bed, is inspiring.
Where did you get the vest? Did you feel sexy in the vest?
The vest came from the clearance rack at Men’s Wearhouse in Philadelphia. I’m not sure I felt sexy in it, but I did feel sort of … superhero-y? Powerful!
